Dress Code & Entry Requirements
We haven't found a dress code. The crowd is the Ridgewood dance-music crowd, so come dressed to dance in a dark, hazy room, and bring a photo ID.
A wine bar with a fog machine
Mansions is easy to underestimate from the street: a natural wine bar on Metropolitan Ave in Ridgewood. It also has a dance room full of fog and a patio, and the music is techno and deep house, according to the guides that cover the city's underground. With a capacity of about 160, it is closer to a neighborhood room than a big club, which is part of its appeal. It sits a short walk from Nowadays and H0L0, so on a busy weekend Ridgewood has three very different dance rooms within a few blocks.
Closed, new carpet, back in April 2026
Mansions shut from January to April 2026 to replace its carpet and came back on April 17–18, 2026, according to Grime Square's report on the reopening. Since then it has been running nights again: in October 2026 its Resident Advisor listings included nights on the 2nd, 4th and 8th, from 9pm to 3am, and a night called Tower was listed for November 12, 2026. We don't have a primary source for a fixed weekly schedule, so check the night before you go.
