VIP Tables at BASEMENT
BASEMENT is built around the dance floor, and we haven't found any table or VIP offer from the club. If you're a group and want to know how a given night works, send us a WhatsApp with the date and how many you are.
How to Get to BASEMENT
Head to 52-19 Flushing Ave in Maspeth, the same address as Knockdown Center, and look for BASEMENT's separate entrance. Buy for a specific party ahead of time, and bring a photo ID. For the night you want, message us on WhatsApp.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
There is no published dress code, but there are strict house rules: no phones, no photos and no video. Guides also note that a ticket does not guarantee entry, so the door still has the last word. Dark, comfortable clothes you can dance in for hours are the norm in rooms like this.
Techno in the tunnels
BASEMENT opened in May 2019 in the brick tunnels beneath Knockdown Center, the old factory in Maspeth, Queens. It has its own entrance on Flushing Ave and its own identity: the main space is a techno room, low-lit and loud, and STUDIO, opened on September 2, 2022, leans more toward house. Resident Advisor and Time Out both list it among the city's essential clubs. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, and the nights run into the morning. In autumn 2026 the bookings included Juliana Huxtable, Dustin Zahn, Dee Diggs, Aurora Halal, Schwefelgelb, Lady Starlight and Function, which gives you a sense of the level.
House rules: no phones, no photos
BASEMENT is one of the strictest clubs in New York about cameras. Phones, photos and video are not allowed, and the point is that the dance floor stays a place to dance, not to film. The club's reputation for a careful door also comes up in every guide: a ticket does not guarantee you'll get in. Bring a valid photo ID and know which party you came for. If you're coming in a group, it helps to plan who's going together before you leave home.
Planning the night
The address is 52-19 Flushing Ave, Maspeth, the same block as Knockdown Center, so check which venue your party is in before you go. Most parties are sold in advance for a specific date. New York State law stops alcohol sales at 4am (ABC Law §106), but BASEMENT keeps the music going later, so plan your way home for daylight. Want to know what's on the weekend you're in town, or need help with a group? Send us a WhatsApp with the date.
