What is the Meatpacking District known for at night?
Table clubs and hotel rooftops. Le Bain, Marquee and TAO Downtown sit within a few blocks of each other, which is why this corner of Manhattan is the classic bottle-service map. The crowd dresses up, doors are selective and the busiest hours in Manhattan come earlier than in Brooklyn or Queens.
Meatpacking: Le Bain and TAO Downtown
Le Bain is the club on the top floor of The Standard, High Line, at 444 W 13th St. The Standard lists it Wednesday to Friday from 4pm, Saturday from 2pm and Sunday from 2pm until midnight, with house and disco DJs (Eli Escobar plays Wednesdays). It works on the door and RSVPs, and an RSVP does not guarantee entry, so arriving early helps.

TAO Downtown Nightclub, at 369 W 16th St, is a drinks-only lounge run separately from the TAO restaurant in the same building. Expect hip-hop, R&B and top 40. Tao's venue page lists Monday and Thursday to Sunday, while another Tao listing shows Thursday to Sunday only, so confirm Mondays before you plan around one.
On the same block, PHD Rooftop on the 12th floor of 355 W 16th St is listed by its operator, Dream Hospitality Group, with Friday parties. And 1OAK, the West 17th Street club many visitors still search for, was evicted on Oct 20, 2022; it no longer runs as a regular club.
West Chelsea: Marquee and The Eagle
Marquee New York has been at 289 10th Ave since 2003. It closed for a renovation in April 2025 and reopened on Sept 25, 2025, with big-room house and EDM DJs. Tao lists Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights; one guide marks the Wednesday as unverified. The door is upscale: no shorts or athletic wear.

The Eagle NYC, at 554 W 28th St, is Chelsea's leather and fetish bar with dance floors and a roof deck. Its own site lists it open every night until 4am (Monday until 3am), with Monday SINday as the weekly start. On weekends the dress code is leather, rubber, denim or uniform.
Chelsea towers: Somewhere Nowhere and The Fleur Room
Somewhere Nowhere fills the 38th and 39th floors of 112 W 25th St: a pool rooftop by day and a club at night, with house, techno and Latin house, plus Loco Carnaval on Sundays. Its website lists Wednesday evenings and Friday to Sunday from noon to 4am. The Fleur Room is the glass lounge on the 35th floor of the Moxy Chelsea, 105 W 28th St, open Tuesday to Saturday and more of a club after 12:30am on Fridays and Saturdays. Both expect a sharp outfit: no sports jerseys, caps or shorts.

Chelsea's small rooms: Petite Disco and Club Rawhide
Petite Disco, at 161 W 23rd St in the old Suede space, was announced in 2024 as a small disco and electronic club with French decor; listings give Thursday to Saturday nights. Club Rawhide opened on June 12, 2026 at 250 W 26th St: a queer house and disco club of about 160 people with Friday nights and Love Sensation Sunday tea dances, and no phones on the dance floor. It has no link to the old Rawhide bar that closed in 2012.
Hudson Yards in summer: Marquee Skydeck
Marquee Skydeck is an open-air club on the 100th-floor deck of Edge at Hudson Yards. Its 2026 season opened on May 1 and ran into the fall; it is closed now and 2027 dates have not been announced.
