How to Get to PHD Rooftop
PHD is inside the Dream Downtown hotel at 355 W 16th St, on the 12th floor. It's in the same few blocks of Chelsea as TAO Downtown and Marquee.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
We haven't found a written dress code for PHD. It's a hotel rooftop lounge in the Chelsea table-club circuit, so dress up and skip sportswear. Ask us on WhatsApp if you're not sure.
A hotel rooftop that runs as a club on Fridays
PHD Rooftop sits on the 12th floor of the Dream Downtown hotel on West 16th Street. It is part of the Dream Hospitality Group portfolio, alongside Harbor and Nebula, and its own page says it opens every Friday. A Friday party called Above Fridays was listed there for Oct 23, 2026. There's a DJ booth and the music is open format. Older listings also gave Wednesday to Saturday nights, but we only confirm Friday until we see dated events on other nights.
How to plan a night at PHD
PHD is a table venue first. Tell us on WhatsApp which Friday you want, how many you are and whether you're celebrating something, and we'll tell you what's possible. It's a short walk from TAO Downtown and Marquee, so it fits into a Chelsea night. Last call in New York is 4am.
