Brooklyn Clubs: Bushwick, Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Gowanus
· Updated:
Brooklyn's best-known clubs sit in a band across North Brooklyn: Pacha New York, SILO, Refuge and Signal in the East Williamsburg warehouse corridor, Elsewhere and House of Yes in Bushwick, Good Room in Greenpoint, and Public Records further south in Gowanus. Most of them are built around dance music, with tickets rather than tables.

East Williamsburg: the warehouse corridor
The industrial blocks around Morgan, Scott and Stewart Avenues are the center of Brooklyn's electronic scene. Pacha New York took over the former Brooklyn Mirage site at 140 Stewart Ave in June 2026, and from Nov 6, 2026 runs Brooklyn Pacha, an indoor room in the old Great Hall with a dance floor for more than 2,600 people. What happened to the Mirage is in its own guide.
Brooklyn Mirage and Pacha New York, explainedAround it: SILO (90 Scott Ave), a warehouse of about 500 people open since 2023 for techno, house, bass and trance; Refuge on Ten Eyck Street, a hi-fi house and techno club of about 500 that opened in September 2025 with no VIP, no bottles and no phones; Signal (175 Morgan Ave), a 210-capacity techno and house room open since May 2025, known for Night & Day parties that run from Friday night into Saturday afternoon; and The Chocolate Factory (70 Scott Ave), a three-floor space with house, techno and dubstep events on select dates.

The corridor is also Brooklyn's queer nightlife hub: 3 Dollar Bill (260 Meserole St) has run drag, pop and Latin nights since 2018, and ANIMAL (307 Meeker Ave) is a queer bar with a dance floor, a patio and house DJs.
Williamsburg: Wythe Avenue
Superior Ingredients, at 74 Wythe Ave in the building that was Output, has a dark club called The Room and a rooftop for day parties in summer. Gabriela, at 90 Wythe Ave, is a small disco, house, Italo and R&B club opened in 2024 by Eli Escobar and Rafael Ohayon.
Williamsburg clubs in detailGreenpoint: Good Room
Good Room, at 98 Meserole Ave, has run since November 2014: house, techno and disco in the main room, and vinyl disco and funk in the smaller Bad Room, from Wednesday to Sunday. The door is come as you are.

Bushwick
Bushwick has the most venues per block. Elsewhere (599 Johnson Ave, open since 2017) mixes concerts and club nights across several rooms, the largest of which, The Hall, holds about 700 people. House of Yes (2 Wyckoff Ave, since 2015) puts circus, cabaret and drag around house and disco, with theme parties on Fridays and Saturdays. Bossa Nova Civic Club (1271 Myrtle Ave) is a 140-person techno room under the M train, open since 2012, and Paragon (990 Broadway) reopened in August 2025 with Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson.
For something else: Xanadu (262 Starr St) mixes roller disco and club nights, Lot 45 (411 Troutman St) throws hip-hop, R&B, reggaeton, Afrobeats and amapiano parties on weekends, and Cafe Erzulie (894 Broadway) goes from jazz to kompa, bashment and amapiano after 10pm, Thursday to Saturday.

Gowanus: Public Records
Public Records, at 233 Butler St, is a bar, a vegan restaurant, a quadraphonic Sound Room and an outdoor space called the Nursery. Its own hours run late on Friday and Saturday, and it opens at 10am on weekends, so it works for daytime plans all year, not just in summer.
Are there clubs in Downtown Brooklyn?
Not that we have been able to verify. None of the clubs on our list is in Downtown Brooklyn; the nearest one is Public Records in Gowanus. A new 1,000-capacity venue from the Public Records team is planned in Sunset Park, reported for late 2026, with no opening date published yet.
Brooklyn or Manhattan?
It depends on the night you want. Manhattan's clubs lean on tables, hip-hop and EDM and get busy earlier; Brooklyn's lean on tickets, long DJ sets and late peaks. For techno, Brooklyn and Queens are where most of the rooms are.
