A queer bar that stays open until 4am
ANIMAL sits on Meeker Avenue, between East Williamsburg and Greenpoint, and works as a bar, a dance floor and a patio in one. It is open every day of the year, from 4pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends, always until 4am. House DJs play on the dance floor, and the calendar includes bear and fetish nights, as Time Out and the bar's own site describe. It is a door bar, so on most nights you just turn up.
