Booking a Table at an NYC Club: How Bottle Service Works
· Updated:
Bottle service in New York means booking a table or section inside a club and ordering bottles that are served to your group there; at Manhattan's table clubs it is also the surest way through the door. Some clubs only admit guests with a table, others sell tables next to tickets, and a few Brooklyn clubs refuse VIP areas altogether.
What bottle service is
You reserve a table for a set number of people on a set night. The venue agrees a spend with you in advance, and your bottles and mixers are brought to the table, with staff looking after it through the night. The group usually enters together through a separate line. Spend levels vary by club, night and where the table sits, so we never publish figures: message us and we'll give you the current terms for your night.
Table-only venues
These Manhattan rooms are listed as table-only, so plan on booking before you go:
- The Box (189 Chrystie St): a cabaret with burlesque, drag and late shows; it books tables through its own site, and listings say walking in without a reservation is unlikely.
- Silencio (303 W 57th St): the members-style New York sister of the Paris club, open Thursday to Saturday.
- Gospël (281 Lafayette St): a restaurant-club in Nolita with deep and tribal house.
- Paradise Club (701 7th Ave): an immersive show at the Times Square EDITION that turns into a DJ club.
- Amber Room (55 W 21st St): an R&B and Latin lounge-club in Flatiron.
- Aura 57 (130 E 57th St): a top 40 club in Midtown East; recent activity is thin, so check with us first.

Clubs where tables sit next to tickets
Most big Manhattan clubs sell both. Marquee sells tickets on Tao Group's site and books tables separately; TAO Downtown has tickets every night it opens and VIP tables. Loosie's on the Bowery, Outer Heaven on Chrystie St (tickets through Resident Advisor, tables on request) and Virgo on Grand St all mix the two. Jean's in NoHo takes table reservations for its downstairs club, and The Blond at the 11 Howard hotel admits by reservation only after 10pm. Le Bain lets you in to dance at the door and books tables separately.

Brooklyn and Queens clubs with tables
Tables are less common outside Manhattan, but they exist. House of Yes has its own table booking page. Lot 45 in Bushwick takes bottle and RSVP requests through its link page, and Cafe Erzulie sells bottles for its Caribbean nights. In Queens, Code Astoria takes table requests on its website.

Where there are no tables at all
Some of the city's best dance floors refuse VIP on principle. Refuge in East Williamsburg has no VIP and no bottles, and H0L0 in Ridgewood has no VIP area. If your group wants a table, those are the wrong clubs; if you want to dance, they may be the right ones.
How to book with us
