Bachelorette Night in NYC: Clubs, Shows and Tables for Groups
· Updated:
For a bachelorette group in New York, the best nights mix a show with a dance floor: cabaret at The Box on the Lower East Side or Paradise Club at the Times Square EDITION, a theme party at House of Yes in Bushwick, or a drag show in Hell's Kitchen. Book a table for the group and the door stops being a worry.
Quick answer
| Style of night | Where | Area |
|---|---|---|
| Cabaret, then DJs | The Box | Lower East Side |
| Immersive show, then a club | Paradise Club | Times Square |
| Costume party with circus and drag | House of Yes | Bushwick, Brooklyn |
| Rooftop table with a view | Somewhere Nowhere, The Fleur Room | Chelsea |
| Drag shows and dancing | Industry Bar, Hardware, Playhouse | Hell's Kitchen, West Village |
| Summer day party | Bounce Beach (closed until the 2027 season) | Montauk |
Shows first, dancing after
The Box, at 189 Chrystie St, is a cabaret with burlesque, drag and late shows, followed by DJs. Entry is by table, and walking in without a reservation is unlikely, so it's a place to book ahead. Paradise Club, on the 7th floor of the Times Square EDITION (701 7th Ave), starts as an immersive cabaret and turns into a DJ club with EDM and top 40 on Fridays and Saturdays; the hotel also lists a dinner show called MoonRise in the same room.

House of Yes in Bushwick is the other classic: a different theme every weekend, circus and drag acts during the night, and Dirty Circus, its early-evening show, listed at 6:30pm. Everyone dresses for the theme, which suits a group, and the club has strict consent rules on the dance floor.

Rooftop tables
For photos with the skyline, book a table high up. Somewhere Nowhere fills the 38th and 39th floors of 112 W 25th St, with a pool by day and a club at night. The Fleur Room is the glass lounge on the 35th floor of the Moxy Chelsea. Both expect a dressed-up look.
Drag nights
Hell's Kitchen's gay bars run drag shows that groups love. Industry Bar (355 W 52nd St) has a show around 11pm every night and DJs on Fridays and Saturdays; Hardware (697 10th Ave) hosts drag on Friday nights before the dance party. In the West Village, Playhouse adds drag and go-go contests. These are queer spaces first: come to celebrate with the room, not to take it over.
Summer: Montauk
In summer, plenty of groups head to Montauk. Time Out describes Bounce Beach (the former Sloppy Tuna) as popular with bachelorette groups; it runs Daylife Saturdays with DJs from early afternoon. It's closed until the 2027 season.
