Cafe Erzulie
Cafe Erzulie, at 894 Broadway in Bushwick, starts the evening with jazz and turns into a dance floor from about 10pm, Thursday to Saturday: kompa, bashment, Naija house, amapiano and hip-hop. It sells bottles for groups.

SOB's
SOB's, at 204 Varick St, has programmed Caribbean, African, Haitian and Brazilian music for about 40 years. Its club nights start at 11pm, and its calendar for November 2026 includes Caribbean Saturdays along with Desi Saturdays.

NEXO's lower floor
NEXO, on the 9th floor of 29 W 36th St, runs reggaeton and dembow upstairs on Saturdays and puts Afrobeats and amapiano on the floor below, so a group can split and meet again.

Lot 45
Lot 45, at 411 Troutman St in Bushwick, throws weekend parties that move between hip-hop, R&B, reggaeton, Afrobeats, soca and amapiano. RSVPs are valid before a set time.

Amazura and other dates
Amazura, at 91-12 144th Pl in Jamaica, Queens, is an event hall rather than a weekly club: promoters book it for Caribbean, Latin and R&B nights, with dates listed on Nov 22 and 28 and Dec 5, 2026. In Bushwick, The Sultan Room hosts Afrobeat Nights among its parties. The DL on Delancey St once advertised Kompa Tuesdays; we haven't confirmed them for 2026.
Labor Day: J'ouvert and the carnival
The biggest Caribbean weekend of the year is Labor Day (the first Monday of September), when the West Indian American Day Carnival parades along Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. J'ouvert, a pre-dawn street celebration with steel bands, paint and powder, opens the day before the parade. Caribbean club nights across the city are busiest that weekend.
