Harlem's queer bar-club
Lambda Lounge is on Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard, Harlem's Seventh Avenue, and it's a queer night out uptown: a Black-owned bar with a dance floor and regular parties like Wet Wednesdays and FNF Fridays, as Okayplayer described it. A 2025 listing, matched by the lounge's Instagram, gives Tuesday to Thursday from 8pm to 2am, Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 4am and Sunday from 7pm to 2am, closed Mondays. In February 2026 Gay City News reported that its Brooklyn sister, Club Lambda, was closing, and that the Harlem lounge would remain open. If you're coming uptown as a group, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you plan the night.
